Mike Collins: can you repair a 2000ANNV ? we normally do our own calibration and repairs, but this unit fails calibration and we have not found any data on it. the write up indicates the sensor is not functioning properly and a film was found on the sensor. Randy Lenox: Hello, I have a model 2100 Ondyne hygrometer with sensor that needs calibration. This instrument is used in a dry/glove box seam sealer. Compared to another hygrometer that just came back from calibration, the ondyne reads about 10?C higher, -45?C compared to -54?C read by the KAHN Cermet II that i just received back from cal. The ondyne has not been out for cal in many years and suspect the sensor is getting saturated. If you can service this model, do you suggest exchanging the sensor or servicing the meter and sensor both? If this is something you can support please send an emailed quote to my attention. lora linville: I am having trouble getting one of these units repaired or replaced. Very few companies come up that repair the VME1 boards and all of Omnibytes numbers have been disconnected. RAMP PRAKASH RAI: I have an OmniGuard 540 UV/IR Test Source unit that is malfunctioning. The unit is not emitting any UV or IR light when powered on, and none of the control buttons respond. Despite attempting to troubleshoot the issue by resetting the unit and checking all connections, the problem persists. Based on my evaluation, I suspect there may be an internal circuitry issue that is preventing the light sources from functioning properly. To have the OmniGuard 540 repaired, the estimated replacement cost could range from $200 to $400, depending on the extent of the repairs needed and the availability of replacement parts. I am interested in obtaining repair service for the unit as soon as possible to ensure its optimal functionality within my business operations.

Joe Welling: Would we be able to set up some type of contract to have you rebuild the boards from our A/B 8600? These CNC controllers were made by OSAI in the 90s. We also need to have working 486 pcs with less then 100mhz processor and non-cascading addresses. derek innes: Mark I had the same problem as you with th cdi box. Mine was an 88 Everyone says that only 87 and 88 will fit. Its not true If u can find a cdi unit for a 89-96 vt1100 they are almost identical it will plug straight up to your harness with no mods. You will have 1 extra wire by itself, this is for the kickstand and clutch safety switch. All u have to do is ground out this wire and crank up your bike. Good luck Hope this helps.

I tried this a few weeks back and nothing worked right then (got it working though), but today the thing just fell apart again. I popped open the front cover, the motor was (this time) easy to remove, I super-glued the bottom pulley back together, and it was running again in 30 minutes. The squeak and rattle are gone. And it looks like this time theyll stay gone!Whats your recent victory?

Michael Lavery: Hi, we are having difficulty with a soft top system on a V65 Princess. Unfortunately the system was partly disassembled because of broken cables prior to us becoming involved in the repair. For this reason we need information as to how the stainless steel cables run and connect. It seems that we have two cable sheaths running to turn blocks at the forward end of the unit and two cables running to turn blocks at the rear end of the unit. On opening the motor box we find a vertical spindle, driven by a Quick 24volt motor mounted below the spindle drum. It seems though that the spindle only has two cables going to it? The box containing the boards from the operating machine operates in both machines, the one from the non operating machine operates in neither.
