jean: Our counter is @ 5 years old. We routinely replace the battery, but it has ceased to function at all. Is it worth repairing?

Lincoln\'s New Salem: We have a JR Traficounter Model 161 Serial # 731052. We have put new batteries in the unit and the counter clicks but the odometer doesnt advance. Any help would be appreciated.
