George Banks: I have some Smith Geosource units, Model # 550084-0-01 that I am trying to verify the value of the Resistor in location R46. Can you please help me out with this information?

Sales: The Shop saidIs the resistor missing from the unit or just open/burnt? If missing or color codes unreadable then we would just draw a schematic of the surrounding circuits and figure out the correct value. If the resistor is open/burnt then cut it in half and remove the metal caps at the end being sure to leave the other metal cap on the end, be careful you only get 1 shot at this. Then measure the resistance from the end to middle and you will be in the ballpark by one of the 2 pieces. If you cant figure it out then send the unit to us.Thanks
