flaviu iederan: Dear SirThe device works but not properly. Sometimes (!!!) they have positioning errors +- up to 5mm. Maybe the encoder is OK and the problem is from wires or controller. Unfortunately the guillotine has not electrical drawings. The encoder has to be for the absolute position measuring, not incremental. It does not show any reading after punching the new measurement and the back guard moves to the end position and bips. I tried to reset the machine by turning off while the back guard is moving but now the display shows no reading.Please advise what to do and how much does it cost to repair.

J.C.\'s TV & Video Service: ident -NR 022331; fabr-nr 601306. This is a monitor for a paper cutting machine used by the University of Oklahoma. Unit is in a dead set condition. It appears to be 1989 vintage. Date code on the FBT appears to be 49th week of 1989. Repairable? or is there a replacement model to be had? Ideas?
