Andy: I can 't get a real communication with RS-232 on CN1- Handy Terminal just blinking line and also with Hyperterminal no answere. There 's no C2 warning on the Display. Any ideas what could be the problem of the drive? Thanks for any Ideas. Andy

Scott Boynton: Hello, I have a NSK ESA Y2020 drive that appears a blown optoisolator on the quadrature encoder output. The A, B, B , Z and Z channels work normaly, with a zero to five volt throw, but the A channel only has about a half volt thow. Of course this is preventing it from working properly. Can you offer an estimate? I am waiting for the drive back from the intigrator, but will be able to send the unit when it arives.Thank you in advance.Scott

Leo Solomon: Gud DayThe NSK ESA-Y2003A23-21 driver that we have is having a big trouble on its communication , it wont make the motor to initialize, it only goes on one side of initialization and does not goes to its original position, but when we try to manually rotate it using handy controller configuration, it smoothly rotates clockwise and vise versa, we have tried using a different motor in order to verify if its the motor that is not good or the driver, and we have concluded that its the driver that is defective, hope you could help me, we badly need it, thanks in advanceLeo
