Joseph Conner: I 'm, with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and I 'm looking for a small computer of some type that could be programmed to suite our Vessel Safety Checks and the reasons are to cut down or even eliminate the use of the paper forms needed to conduct a Vessel Safety Check on boaters within the United States waters. This computer or component needs to be able to waterproof, small enoughto be handled with one hand, possibly float if dropped in the water and to provide the Vessel Examiner with atleast four functions. The functions would be Save, Send, Print Document and be able to Print Out a Plastic type Label on the current year.There is one other item the cost needs to be within reason.How do I pay for this prototype through a Grant that I 'm working on.If you can assist me in this project I would welcome your suggestions.Thank you for your time;Sincerely,Joseph A.
