Christy Rowan: I have a question on a Machinemate control that Im working on. We finished a retrofit on a mill about 6 years ago, and the machine has been working fine. But recently the probe function stopped working and the next day they had trouble booting up the machine. They had called a technician in, and he had to fix windows to get the control to boot. Windows didnt recognize machinemate after that, and he had to reload the machinemate software, and the ladder program. This is where the customer called us. When the other tech reloaded some of the control he didnt get some of the options reloaded like the extra tool table positions. We got everything back up and the machine is running again, except for the probe. Its been awhile since we worked on MachineMate so we think we got everything reloaded in the folders that they are suppose to be in. When they try to touch off their part with the probe, the axis doesnt stop feeding. From what we can tell the probe is working fine, and is generating a signal. Is there any parameters we need to double check or when windows got corrupted could it still be causing problems? Thanks
