R. Bibolini: I have a Trotter 510 which until recently it was working fine.Now after some 10 minutes of operation it stops abruptly and gives a Code 2 (excessive Current Draw) indication.The current here is 110 v 50Hz but I do not think the problem is the frequency, otherwise it could not have operated OK for a couple of years.The total time is 281hours, the total distance is 880 miles and the number of starts 1457.Brushes were (or look) OKIf you can diagnose the problem please advise what parts (motor, relay box, etc.) may need changing and give me a quote.Because of our geographic location, shipping the treadmill back would be prohibitively expensive as would be flying a mechanic.And the machine is too young to junk it.Please see what you can do.

I tried turning it on and off the machine a few times and sometimes then it will allow me to press the start button to activate the prgram. Then the next day I use it it doesnt work again & by turning it on and off the machine a few times it doesnt work. Its not the not the pin that is clipped to your shirt/pant that when you pull it out of the slot from the panel the machine stops. I am not sure if it the main circuit boad on top?

Doug Womack: I expieienced the same thing on the switch I just bought except the lighted switch came on and no lights. Then I rewired it with a jumper between the ACC & Power terminals and got Lights when the switch was on and lighted switch when the switch was off. I think the switch is defective but Im no expert. What did you come up with for a fix on yours?

It then load Vicker software and the monitor color changed to pink stripe. We can see nothing but the pink striped monitor thereafter. Dan Marr: Greg,the Siemens CSGM software connects through a device called an XND. This is not a USB to Serial Converter but rather has a DOS Serial driver needed for the CSGM Program to work. The driver doesnt ship with the Windows XP software which is why they have the XND.If your trying to connect to the printer port thats a different story. You can do this using Hyper Terminal provided that configuration file in the MXL is setup for a printer port.This however wont provide access to the CSGM Software.Considering this was originally posted in May of this year, Ill assume youve gotten the information you were looking for.

Actually i have connected the RS-232 serial port to my pc and RJ-45 to MXL panel.whenever i am trying to connect to panel through CSGM software it gives me ERRROR-7 , but this problem is present in 1 only central. In the second central the connect is functionally whit my pc. Tom McLaughlin: HiI am director of a 175 unit condo association. The condo was outfitted in 1983 with Chloride Pyrotector smoke alarms. These units are now almost 28 years old and we are concerned they may be too old to be reliable even though the self-test buttons seems to work.My question - in your opinion, are these units past their service life? Fred Kawa: I was an engineer at Pyrotector before Chloride bought the company and can say that the two prototype 30-52s I have, made in 1977, are still working fine. We never released any shelf or operating life projections in those days but not much can go wrong with them except maybe an electrolytic capacitor drying out and shorting and if that happened, the operating voltage is so low that I doubt it would ignite. Plus, as long as the test button triggers the alarm, it should be fine. The test button is designed not to interrupt the light path but to bend the light path enough to simulate less than 2% smoke obscuration, the design criteria of the day. I hope this helps.

Fred Schubert: The unit is wired to AC, when the bathroom lights are turned on, the unit beeps, similar to test button. The test lever still works properly, but when I took the unit off the wall, any jar would cause the same sound to be heard. Can the unit be repaired, or replaced?
