John Elkins: I am emailing on behalf of the Agriculture Dept of Stephen F. Austin State University. We have a Torchmate CNC plasma cutter table and the motor driver blew out one of its axis 's. We are still functioning on the other 2 axis 's. Torchmate quoted me almost 700 dollars for a new driver and cables. Our department, like most state funded schools is very limited on what we have money in our budget for; and repairs to this machine after only being online for roughly a year are not part of that limited budget. How much for repairing the motor driver? What is the normal estimated turn around time for this sort of thing, it is right in the middle of a very important project. If I need to get numbers off of the box please let me know. You can call me between 10-8 M-F, calling is usually the fastest way to reach me. Thank you, John ElkinsPresident of Ag Engineering Technology Club.
