Our current cover is kind of an almond color. After remodeling our living room, all of the vents, outlets, etc. have been done in white. Would it be possible to purchase a white cover to replace the almond one for our door chime? What would the cost be?Please respond even if not available before I resort to spray painting our current one. Thank you very much.

Ihave about a 30 year old rittenhouse with 4 chimes.It seems that the solenoids that activate the strikers,are getting a little lazy.I have had one apart and try to clean it ,with not much succes,I even lost one of those tiny springs. The small piston that strikes the chime does not return back to the original position. There is a spring on the piston. It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. We purchased our present home in 1998. It was custom built in 1983 with many upgrades that were available at that time. Unfortunately since we have lived here the system does not work. I think what we have may be on the large size as far as the measurements of each room speaker and the main system as well. because of this we are afraid we are looking at a major renovation to replace it.
