Atlas Copco Jubilee Autofold Machine Communications Problem

Hi,

We have a Jubilee Electronics Autofold machine that stopped measuring distance properly. We have narrowed down the issue to the controls but the Mfg. says they no longer support our board and only give the option of completely replacing the computer station which is a metal stand with an keyboard, monitor with an Arcom J643 V1 14 PC board linked to custom control boards via a simple serial port connection. Jubilee wants a considerable sum to replace the station when the solution is more than likely a very simple problem. The machine boots and functions in manual mode. The problem is if you tell the machine you want 24 inches of sheet metal from the roll it spits out 10 feet of metal. There is a tx/rcv light on the PC daughter board but only the tx light functions..........Thanks Mike with Comfortworks, Inc. in Goldsby Oklahoma.
