I built an 8.2 ohm/2W resistor in (which is recommended in the LNK305 application example).The washing machine was working for about two weeks, and the reistor has gone again (only the resistor the IC is working). I\'ve replaced it again and the machine works again. The question is the resistor value (8.2 ohm good or not) and what could be the root cause. I looking forward your ideas. If it is possible please send me a circuit diagram. Thanks in advance.
