Just wondering i have a rittenhouse system rcm-1 and the intercom system part does not seem to be working. We can broadcast for the main unit and it is heard in the other units but when we try to broadcast from one of the other units to the main you can not hear the person ? Anysuggestions or do you have a manual that can be downloaded?ThanksDave

A Rittenhouse model 312 came with my home. It works but the chimes are not loud enough to heard unless you are in the room where the doorbell is mounted.I would hate to replace it because other than this it is very workable.

It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.
