We have a bridgeport with the 1100 anilam control on it. About a year ago the feed on the x @ y stopped working. Not able to engage the servos. We had a repairman come in who told us that the board that controls the servos is out. Have been waiting for him to have this repaired but has not found anyone to repair it. The Z axis is inoperative, manual movement of the Z axis results in the power contactor tripping out. This is the same contactor that is controlled by the limit switches. When the machine is first powered up the Y,X servo motors are powered, the Z is not getting power.

Hi john I called you earlier about connectors for servo driver card. We had cmos setting problems and fixed them on the 1100 by replacing the cpu board bios chip which contains internal batteries. We can walk you throughit if you need help. Interesting how your post about this problem poppedup in front of me while looking for more info on the 1100.

I have an Anilam 1100 control that wont keep the cmos settings. The control starts to boot up but then tells me to push F2 to enter setup. I enter setup then save the changes but when I reboot the control does the same thing. What can be done to fix my problem?
