I believe it was 16v AC current . not DC at least thats how mine is.

The small piston that strikes the chime does not return back to the original position. There is a spring on the piston. It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. Is there supposed to be a retainer on the end of the piston to keep the spring in place?

Front and back door bells. I need a diagram showing how to connect the wires from the doorbells. Front works with one wire from Front doorbell going to Terminal B and the other going to Front in the 16 VAC group. I assumed one wire would go from Back doorbell to Terminal A and the other to Back in the 16 VAC group, but the doorbell is not getting power.

I have Model 380 16V. I had connected it ot a Ring Video 2 Doorbell and it worked fine for several months. Now there is a loud humm coming from the chime. I think the Ring ihas a problem. Ring says the chime may not be compatible. Ring says the model 382 is compatible. Whould you know the difference between the 380 and the 382?

Can you repair the solo kids on this 1950s era doorbell?It’s generally ok except that some of the parts that slide in the tubes to ring the chimes are lost. I could send it in or you could sell me the parts to fix it myself. Thanks,George Pond

I recently purchased an older home that has a Model # RC-475 - 16 volt door chime that works fine, but lacks the cover. Is it possible to purchase just a cover from you or is something like this no longer available. Amazon has one but the mfg. dimensions wouldn't fit. As close as I can measure where the unit is installed on the wall are approx. 6 1/2 in.x 8 1/2 x 2". Tag on door chime unit says:Model 8846RVolt 16Rittenhouse Division Spartan ElectricFayetteville NC 28386The unit has four tubes, it has a circuit board with integrated circuits. The transformer is putting out 18.5 volts, although the unit says 16 volts on transformer and circuit board. I assume the board has gone bad. I like the unit, I am wondering if a replacement board is available or can you fix the current one. Another alternative I would like to explore, if another brand unit can be used.

My manual says 4-8 Note Chime Models (534, 535, 552, 577, 618, 633). I don't know which one I have. It has long chime tubes and a clock on top. The door bell works great, but the clock doesn't.

Due to the worn-weakened spring on the hitting bar which do not pop out from the solenoid hole. Do you sell the spring or the entire solenoid with the hitting bar?

Bell is connected to two doors. The front door works fine. The rear door won't ring at all. Can't tell what might be disconnected. Any ideas would be a big help. Thanks.Ken Bentham

Hello, I have a rittenhouse door sentry. #M9035 w/ a M 9305 door station. The indoor station seems to work, it unlocks the door when the button is pushed. The M9305 out side station is my problem, the speaker is fried and the button is missing. Would you have these items? or where I might find them.
