Hi, I acquired (2) old Mutoh IP530 pen plotters from about 1990 or so. Iplan on using 3 of the stepper motors and one of the drive boards for aCNC router table. I need to somehow eliminate the on-board plotter CPU.is there a way I can wire the drive board directly to my parallel porton my computer without going through the CPU board? if so, I cancontrol the motors with off-the-shelf CNC software. I appreciate anyinfo you can offer. wiring diagrams, specs, technical info etc.Here are the numbers from the drive board:DATE 90/12/26REV. I have a mutoh vinyl printer....13 months old...will not print black ink...brinting other colors but they do not seem as bright

printed 6mil wall vinyll job approx 100\'.....in 5\' panels..when tryie to cut media to change roll to reg media,,the cutter stopped in the middle,,,,and i turned off machine and cut manually---when i went to reload i got fashin lights on panel and error code Y74had a computer tech hougholy clean the machie withh qtips and alcohol......a mimaki tech looked at machinesaid motor appears ok and the pulley seems attachedd,but the motor doesnt want to movewhen powered up mimaki tech noted that he did not see a light on indicating the encoder srip my not be working----reasoning---the roland and mimaki have a light to indicacte the encoder is working---he thought if this is the cace the crcuit board attached to the encoder srip may need replacedi need a mutoh tech to fix my machine--can you help i have been down for3 weeks plus

Dear Mutohi have problem with my digital printing machine which is mutoh Rockhopper II/87\" model RJ-8000-87k-SDMP, serial no D08K:00029 since one month ago. and have repair by Mutoh Indonesia Authorized (PT ASABA) but no result and solution from PT ASABA.cronolgy :1.PT ASABA judge my mainboard is broken, then PT ASABA use new mainboard falcon type, but still not operating, PT ASABA says the mainboard must be downgrade the firmware, after PT ASABA downgrade, still not working..2.after that, we try the old mainboard, turned out to be the mainboard is working in standby condition (Ready To Print in Panel), but we can\'t test print and the panel says \"System Error 07 CPU Error E016\"3.in standby condition(Ready to Print), file from the computer can\'t be send from the computer, PT ASABA give me a new LAN CArd, And still not working whereas the IP address is match and the networking is connected..in my computer (Easysign, Production Manager) after i click Play, appearing \"The Port (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) could not be opened..we need help from Mutoh Japan to attend for my problem. because PT ASABA (only in Indonesia)can\'t helping my problem.Do you have alternate solution for me?other than PT ASABA in indonesia or Singapore?very urgent..Best RegardsNajib Assegaf

I was recently having my Mutoh printer transported when it tipped over in the truck and it slammed down directly on the ink cartridge slot assembly. The ink cartridges were jammed into the machine breaking all the slot mechanisms and snapping off the plastic ink ports at the couplers feeding the metal ink tubes. Who knows what else could have been damaged. Is this repairable and if so can I just purchase the necessary parts and fix it on mine own.

I am having power issues with my Mutoh VJ-1204 printer.I sent a print to the machine yesterday which caused the printer to failed mysteriously with an error code in the display, however I was unable to capture the error code displayed before cycling the machine. I cycled the machine and now only the data processing light comes on with no power (green) light and nothing in the display telling me what the error is.Today I removed the back panel and noticed the Heater Control Board (DE-36761A) has a blinking red light on LD2. I was wondering if I have a faulty board why the heating system is not initializing.Please help I need to know if I just blown a fuse or do I need to replace a part?Regards,

We recently installed a new print head on our Mutoh Valujet 1304 and I think the tech shorted out the network port on the motherboard (nothing I can prove). I can get it to print test prints but it will not communicate with my computer so I can\'t send files to it to print using the original motherboard. Luckily I had a spare board and I am running at the moment but if I can get this one repaired I can get a 2nd printer running which I desperately need. How much to take a look at it and repair it if possible to fix?
