I have a 1988 LeRoi compressor 185 cfm Perkins diesel that has a C.A.V. primary fuel filter located near the fuel tank. It has the secondary filter monted on the engine. The secondary filter uses a 33166 canister filter. The primary did not have a filter element in it, just a metal cone. Is this filter supposed to have a filter element inside? Hi, I have a L-TEC brand plasma cutter pcm-7501, p/n 32905, serial a93b41632 and was wondering if I could ask you a question or three about it?My questions are,it will power up fine, and when you select air test, that function works as well. There is no fault light on, but the problem is that the unit will not do a thing when you push the trigger. We have tried changing the tip consumables out with new parts, and checked the trigger also. It tested fine. Is there anything that I could do or test before I bring it in to get it tested? Is there a common problem with these machines that maby i could fix? and lastly, If the circuit board is bad, how much for one and is it even worth fixing this machine.Sorry for the long post and thank you for your help!Ken

The problem is probably in the trigger or broken wiring back through the leads. If you have any of the electrical drawings, they should show where to close the connection inside the power supply to fire the torch. If it fires that way your problem is in the leads or trigger.

The cooling head just recently fell apart and one of it´s connection broke off. I recently purchased a 1978 Ford 7000 equpped with a road striping unit. It has a Leroi Dresser Compressor. It also has a hydraulic system driven by a Perkins diesel engine that drives both the hydraulics and the compressor. I have a LeRoi air compressor, serial # 3120x250. I found another # A219-89. Assembled @ Dresser Industries Inc. Sidney, Ohio. 62-48 I have a few issues with it. First issue is over heating. So I should probably install a new thermastat, but cant seem to find and purchase in my area. The second issue is, leaking at the oil cooler which is located between engine oil filter and engine. Cant seem to find a replacement part for that either. I do automatic underground sprinklers, which need to be blown out every fall to keep from freeze damage duing winter.
